I first found out about folk, pop band Carosel while watching an episode of Degrassi on Nickelodeon. It took me forever to find the song I heard, but my diligence was rewarded. Carosel has a smooth cool sound that is sure to relax you while driving in your car on a hot summer day. Their song “Star” has an appealing wonderstruck beat, the lyrics talking coolly about what it means to be famous or a celebrity. What does it mean to be a “star?”
